Speech Therapy Tacoma is a locally-owned private practice in Fife Heights, Washington specializing in helping adults who have communication difficulties due to strokes and neurologic diseases. The therapy space is very private, with a warm and welcoming environment.

I create individualized treatment plans tailored to each person's unique needs and goals, using specialized approaches and techniques for improving communication skills, with opportunities to practice and develop communication strategies in a supportive and warm environment.

Speech Therapy Tacoma is owned by Sherri Drummond, M.A. CCC-SLP. For 20 years, Sherri has been a speech-language pathologist helping adults with neurologic impairments affecting speech, language, cognition and swallowing.

Sherri earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders, and a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from Western Washington University. She is licensed to practice in Washington state, and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association. Sherri also is a certified SPEAK OUT!® provider for individuals with Parkinson’s Disease.
